Both candidates and clients often remark that we are different from other recruiting organizations. Here’s why:

  • All of our consultants are either trained in one of the design professions or have meaningful experience at senior levels inside design firms.
  • We do not rely exclusively on placements to compensate our own employees. They are salaried professionals.
  • We are very selective with clients: we work only with distinguished firms on searches that can influence organizational performance.
  • We are very selective with candidates: our clients come to us for the very-difficult-to-find people and they expect us to recommend only those with the closest fit to their requirements.
  • We do not contract out any part of the search process.
  • We insist on getting to know our clients: that starts with an in-person visit, and includes weekly discussions
  • We do not accept contingency assignments: our fees are paid like our clients’ fees are paid…as they are earned.
  • Candidates must expect several rounds of discussion before we present them to our clients.
