One of the country’s top architectural design firms is seeking an experienced Pacific Region Health Group Leader for its West Coast Practice. Recognized for creating places that enhance the human experience through innovation, creativity and vision, the firm is continuing to build on its talented leadership across a wide spectrum of expertise.
The Pacific Region Health Group Leader will develop a vision and strategic plan to grow the Pacific Region healthcare practice, ensuring that the firm is considered for major healthcare projects in the region. The successful candidate will:
- Direct the growth of the firm’s healthcare practice in the Pacific Region as an identifiable expert and recognized leader, both externally and internally.
- Execute a business development strategy to successfully acquire and develop targeted clients coupled with an execution platform that delivers on the marketing promise.
- Grow a practice of highly competent healthcare designers, managers and planners based on successful models elsewhere in the firm.
- Establish the firm on the West Coast as the kind of thought leader that the firm’s healthcare clients nationally have counted on for an understanding of what drives design for healthcare today … providing expert advice, surfacing issues they may not have considered, and developing creative and enduring solutions.
The successful candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong leadership and collaborative skills, and the ability to think strategically. They will be able to lead selected projects with a strong vision and team leadership, and help position the firm for future work throughout the West Coast through a broad and deep portfolio, strong client relationships and upfront planning and consulting assignments that reinforce the firm’s thought leadership capabilities.
The ideal candidate will need at least 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years focused on design for healthcare. A Masters in Architecture degree from an accredited University program and LEED accreditation are preferred. An architecture license is required, California license preferred.
